I'd chose my mum and brother because they know about all that government things. They're also smart with most things,

  1. Hi Jerome,

I'm so glad to see that you've chosen to participate n the Summer Learning Journey! Your country has gone through quite an interesting time as a result of the national election.
I live in Canada. In some ways our political system is like yours, but in some ways it's different. I was interested to learn that you have a 3-way coalition government in power now.

I hope that the 3 parties are working well together in order to put helpful legislation in place. If they argue with each other then very little will be achieved.

You mention that you'd work with your mom and brother if you were forming a government. Is your brother older than you are? I hope you get along well!

And I hope you're having a lovely summer holiday time. I'm looking forward to reading more of your blogs.

  2. Hey Jerome,

You’ve shared who you’d choose as coalition partners, I think it’s great that you picked two people who are knowledgeable about politics. Have you thought about what you might offer your group? Think about what qualities or skills you could contribute to your group..

I’d also choose my Mum and younger brother. My Mum is very empathetic and kind so she’d help us understand each other and other people better. My brother is the no nonsense type so he’d help us use time effectively. I have a good attention to detail so I’d be able to pick on things my coalition partners might’ve missed.

Just a reminder, there are a few days left to complete as many activities as you can before the programme ends on the 26th of January.

It’s been great reading your posts this summer!

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.
