Summer Learning Journey:Week 3 - Day 4 Activity 1

My Person: James Pebbles

The person I have chosen is James Pebbles, he is a Canadian-American astrophysicist, astronomer and theoretical cosmetologist who is currently the Albert Einstein Professor Emeritus of Science at Princeton University.

He has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics, if you don't know what a Nobel Prize is, it's awarded to people who have made the most outstanding contribution to mankind in the field of Physics. James Pebbles has been awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics.

James Pebbles is 84 years old, he was born on the 25th of April 1935 in St. Boniface, in present-day Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  He left Manitoba in the fall of 1958 to attend Princeton University, where he received his Ph.

James Pebbles must've been a very intelligent/smart person to be able to receive a Nobel Prize award.

  1. WOW - you've taught me something Jerome, thank you! Can you name the other people who he shared the NPP with in 2019? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
