Summer Learning Journey:Week 2 - Day 2 Activity 3

Rosa Parks boarded a bus, but as well as a white man. Since back in these times people were judged on what colour their skin was, so the driver orders the African american people to move but Rosa didn't. So the bus driver tells her to give up her seat for him, but she refused to.

The 15-year-old who came before Rosa Parks back in March 1955, nine months before Rosa Parks defied segregation laws by refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama, 15-year-old Claudette Colvin did exactly the same thing...
