S.L.J D.3.A.1

1.One of the things you have to do when you are on a plane is that you have to buckle your seat belt in and if you are going off the plane then UN click it so that it will come off.

2.Another one is that if a mask comes down that is a bag with oxygen and it will help you breathe if you are going down and you have to place it over your head and put the mask over your nose and mouth.

3.One of the last things to keep safe on a plane are NO SMOKING! because you will make the smoke come up and the smoke alarm will go off and it will cause everyone to panic and you might drop it and it will cause a fire and the plane will burn down.

These are some things you should do when you are on a plane!.

  2. Hi Jerome! I agree with Lusia. It is great that you posted the safety instructions in a neat list. It was so easy to read and to follow.

I think that you have highlighted some really important points. You definitely need to have your seat belt on and to unclick it in case of emergency. You also need to make sure that you do not smoke on the plane. If you did it would set up the fire alarm and the entire plane would have to sit and listen to the sirens. As you say, the other passengers are likely to panic and get quite upset!

Nice work on this post, Jerome.

    Keep it up :)

    Cheers,
    Rachel

  3. Kia ora Jerome,

Thanks for being so thorough in your explanation of the rules about flying! I like how you have given an explanation for each of the rules as well. Well done.

You definitely shouldn't be smoking on planes, that's very true! Whilst it may not cause the plane to burn down, it will definitely cause the smoke alarms to go off and you'll have a very angry pilot!

Have you ever flown in a plane before? If you have, what do you remember about the instructions they gave you? I'm flying to Nelson this afternoon on Air New Zealand, so I get to see their new safety video. If you want to check it out, you can search 'Summer of Safety' on YouTube. You might see a few familiar faces!

I hope you are enjoying your holidays Jerome. I'm really enjoying catching up on your blogs.

    Tumeke!

    Dan.
