They should save the Kakapo by building their nest on high ground so it's eggs doesn't get stolen.They should just put them on a tree or something that's on high ground or something. so if the animals are fighting and their in between they'll get squashed on.

ReplyDeleteI like your thinking! The Kakapo are really vulnerable to predators because they build their nests on the ground. The challenge for the Kakapo is that they can't fly so they would struggle to get to their nest(s) if they were planted in trees. Perhaps we could re-locate the nests to an island or an enclosure where they could still build their nests on the ground but be sheltered from animals who might want to hunt/eat them. What do you think? Do you think that this could work?
